Hi!
So there's currently many translations in the Dutch version of the game that either don't make sense and/or have been very literally translated from English. A big one that stands out is the use of the word "game" instead of "spel". (Base game is Basegame instead of Basisspel for example).
One of the horse skills is named "Endurance" (not translated at all), this should be "Uithoudingsvermogen".
These Sims have the wrong translated names:
- Cassandra Goth, currently Cassandra Van de Kerkhof --> should be Alexandra van de Kerkhof (technically for all the Goth family members their last name should contain a lower case v, but that I can live with)
- Prudence Crumplebottom, currently Prudence Rimpelbil --> should be Prudentia Rimpelbil
- Don Lothario, should be Stefano Bigoli
- Dirk Dreamer, should be Dirk Dromer
- Dustin Broke, should be Douwe Blut
- Olive Specter, should be Olijfje Siebrand
- Nyon Specter, currently Nervous Specter, should be Nerveus Siebrand, or Nyon Siebrand if following the new name lore.
- Eetion Thebe --> Etienne van der Maassen
- Cordelia Capp --> Camilla van der Smacht (jr)
- Rodrigo Thebe --> Rodrigo van der Maassen
- Arnessa Thebe --> Arnessa van der Maasen
Some of these I have mentioned years ago on the Dutch forums already, but they've never been fixed and now the Dutch forums are closed. Hopefully this way they will! Thanks so much😄
