[EBN] Children don't gain natural living preference when asked

My child sim was asked twice if she should like natural living, both times I said yes, and neither of them counted. When I checked in simology panel, it's not listed there. When I checked in CAS, it's not even available as a preference for children. Why even ask if children can't have the preference?
