EBN added some new eye colors, but it can't be choosen for infant, toddler and child. I want children to inherit their parents' eye color, but they can't.

At first, I thought it was by design, but the more I think about it, the more it seems like a bug, or at least an oversight. Vampires and spellcasters can have their occult eyes (or any other type of occult eyes) from infancy. They can even have pointy ears. But fairies can’t get theirs until they reach teenagehood, and that doesn’t seem right.
I think they should be able to have fairy genetics (skin tone, eye color, ears) from birth, just like other occult types. Is there an explanation as to why they aren’t?
