My sim was originally had a dark skin tone, but once she turned into a fairy her skin tone changed and it's only relative to her fairy form. Her eye color, hair color and hairstyle also changed. I went into CAS and that solved the problem but it's frustrating

Hi, the same thing happened to me. No mods/CC. PC game. Skin color change happens only in fairy form, brown as a Sim, white as a fairy.

Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
What platform are you playing ?
Do you mean the skin color only changed on the fairy form but not on the human form ? In Human form the Sim still looks the same as before ?
