[ECO] World turned foggy despite footprint turned off

I am currently playing in Del Sol Valley and have eco footprints turned off but my world randomly turned smoggy. I have tried to toggle the eco footprint back on and off and it doesnt seem to fix. I am playing on PC.

    Could you please provide the following information

    • Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
    • Is this just a visual effect or is the actual footprint still visible ?
    • to be sure, it's not a moodlet you're getting but the world ?
    • Could you post a picture ?
