Can't enter household
I just updated my game today, 3/31, and when I go to start playing, it sends me to manage worlds to select a world to play in. When I click the world and household I want, it glitches out and sends me back to the main manage worlds screen. Then I tried to create a new household to avoid this problem, but then when i was done creating a new sim, it took forever to load and did not load through. I had to force quit the game. Sims taking autonomous actions with disabled autonomy
I had disabled both autonomy for selected sim and autonomy for everyone else in order to get some screenshots. But an adult sim who's holding a baby would always autonomously go and put the baby in the crib as soon as I unpause the game. Hope it gets fixed soon. Thanks. It would help a lot when it comes to taking screenshots :)
[XB/PS] Console crashing after update 2.13
I ran the update for Xbox today 6/18/25 and every time my sim leaves the lot and returns the games crashes - no mods as it is Xbox - has occurred about 5 times today every time is after my sim visits another lot and comes back to their lot about 3-5 minutes of playing with a different household member the game crashes. Also it keeps resetting my game settings turning back on tutorials and game play overlays and turning back on the music I have turned off in build mode and home screen have most packs except for For Rent, Lovestruck, Growing together, High School Years and Seasons
[LS] disabled attraction setting not preventing attraction and flirting
Twice, in the past three days, I have had sims who were friends, with no romantic relationship, initiate a romantic relationship by flirting. ALL of my played sims have "attraction disabled" and the game specifically states that, "This Sim will have Attraction only for Sims with whom they have a romantic relationship". Therefore, this setting is either not working at all, or malfunctioning in some way. I will also say that when this happens, the usual pop up and sound indicating that a romantic relationship was formed, is not happening. I will also say that it is happening with sims that have been played for a long time and it is completely out of character for. Perhaps that might mean that disabled attraction was working previously and now it is not, but the point is, these sims have never cheated on their spouses or partners. And most especially not with a stepson, stepmom or a son's wife. In the past three days, all of this has happened, completely ignoring the attraction setting being disabled. And it was not due to any romantic introduction as they obviously already know each other when they're friends, nor was it due to any serenade bleed over as I saw everything unfold this time. It was out of the blue with no warning and no indication that it had even occurred had it not been for the husband being there and witnessing it and the thought bubbles. In the right side of the screenshot you see my sim Jake, center is his daughter-in-law Alaina and on the left is his son Morgan. Jake has been popping up pretty much everywhere they go, so I had no reason to think anything about it. I had Morgan jump on the treadmill to Alaina's left, thinking Jake might jump on the empty treadmill to her right. Instead, this is what happened......I paused quickly as soon as I saw the thought bubble with the rose and Morgan getting angry. Jake and Alaina chat on like nothing is wrong while Morgan is feeling deeply wounded. I have no idea what that scythe in Jake's thought bubble means as I am pretty sure I have never seen it before. Jake and Alaina are acting like nothing happened while Morgan sobs in misery. I pulled up Jake's profile in her relationships and found this.... Rewind to three days ago, and I found this has happened after taking Morgan and Alaina to the Romance Festival and I didn't find it until the next day when I happened to be looking through the family tree because once again, there was no pop ups or indication at all that it has happened. I didn't see any thought bubbles at all with this one. This was between him and his stepmother. Something happened on 04/02/26 that caused this. It was with his wife Alaina and was due to a romantic introduction that was not prevented by the attraction setting being disabled. It was not with a family member though. I have to say that in all of my time playing The Sims 4, I have never, ever, not once, seen these In-Lovers and Step-Flirt sentiments or have anything remotely like this happen. Probably because I always disable attraction for my sims and it worked as it should. Something has obviously gone very wrong at some point but did not noticeably start presenting itself in my game until April 2nd. And as of now, with my nicest, politest, most well behaved and well mannered, loyal sim flirting with his son's wife and cheating on his own, my game is unplayable until this gets fixed. I only have one save file and I simply cannot, don't want to play when it feels like my game has suddenly turned into an insane asylum or something. I will send you my save file, whatever you need. I recently did a game reset following Crinrict's steps that I found on the forum. I did it because I was trying to get the option to give out residence keys back not because I was having any problems. My game loads and flows quite smoothly. And as it turns out, the option for the key was moved somewhere else so there was not really a problem after all. All packs up to AA, never cc and the only mod I use (UI Cheats) has been uninstalled since yesterday.
[RL] Extortion/Scandals Turned off but still happening
I have turned off all of the Royalty & Legacy settings in game settings around Scandals and still they pop up. I testing in a mod/cc free save with mods/cc folder removed and I have never played with mods/cc in this save and still scandals are happening Also after not 10 Sim minutes of creating a fiancé for my Sim both of them got the Secret Witness sentiment. I tested by having my Sim have an affair and nothing should happen as I turned of scandals etc. and still got a pop up about the affair? See photos attached. The lovestruck pack has been going haywire with the romance decay i can no longer have a relationship in my sims games, romance decay decays way too fast , i have a married couple that lives together and even tho they talk and flirt almost everyday they literally have no romance in their bar, this couple been together for years as well i seen their romance bar decay from full to empty in two sim days, then they just randomly broke up , while still living together, this makes no sense at all and is not realistic at all to real life lovers, i cant have a romantic relationship anymore because this pack is making it impossible and especially in my rotational play saves , all my unplayed houses break up while im on a different house , i love the stuff that comes with the lovestruck pack but it is ruining my gameplay and the aims4 for me and ive been playing sims since i was a kid and im 30 now and for the first time im not having fun playing the sims Edit By crinrict: Adjusted TitleNewborns are Deleting Straight After Birth
After I click on Give Birth, and I pick a name, the bassinet disappears and I cannot click on the baby. I can fix this by going into manage worlds and back, but it doesn't work when I had twins. One baby was fully there and the other fully deleted- not even showing up on the family tree. I don't have any mods, I tried moving the bassinet away from the walls, I factory reset the sims and recovered it through the EA app. I tried on new saves and the same thing started happening. I have the default settings and no custom music or content. It still isn't working and I'm really confused on what to try next.
[FR] Tenant Events still happen when Unit Events are disabled (After 2.28)
Just to clarify, I did look at the bug list, and I did not see this as listed, so just in case I am posting it here so please forgive me if it's already been logged. I play on PlayStation so I cannot attest to the PC player experience. The event toggle to stop events while being a landlord in for rent do not actually stop random events. I still get random charities, pet drives which causes random animals and people to invade my home, cursed books, exploding stoves, etc. Even though I have Enable Rental Unit Events turned off, it still happens anyway. I can only conclude that the toggle is broken. If someone could please look into it, it would be much appreciated. For Rent is not fun to play when this is not actually togglable. Thank you. Platform: PC (EA App) Game Version: [ The sim 4 version before and after the March 17–18, 2026 update] issue is more occurring after the latest update Mods/CC: None Description: After the latest Sims 4 update and hotfix, I am experiencing a bug where my Sim gets stuck repeatedly selecting and unselecting a a interaction. and has started happen a lot after using the new CAS “dislike” feature for objects. Specifically: I set my Sim to dislike the computer in CAS. After repairing the game and loading my save, the Sim automatically attempted to use the computer. The game conflicted with the dislike setting, causing the Sim to endlessly loop selecting/unselecting the computer interaction. I then removed the dislike in CAS, but the loop continued. The Sim remains stuck and does not perform other actions. casuing no gameplay This occurs with no mods or custom content installed. Steps to Reproduce: Create a Sim and set a CAS dislike for an object (computer or phone). Save and exit the game. Repair the game (optional). Remove the dislike in CAS. Load the save. The Sim begins to automatically interact with the object but gets stuck in a loop selecting/unselecting. Expected Outcome: The Sim should either respect the dislike and avoid the object, or interact normally without getting stuck in a loop. Actual Outcome: The Sim gets stuck in a looping interaction, continuously selecting and unselecting the object, making noises, and cannot perform other actions. Additional Notes: The issue happens in my main save. The bug persists even after clearing the cache, repairing the game, and resetting the Sim (resetsim *).
