So at this point a completely new save only played a few hours keeps getting the error code; 

Of course relaunching the game isn't helping. It happened when i traveled to the thrift store in Copperdale. I don't use mods or cc

I'm having this exact same issue. Also don't use any mods or anything.  I tried to go on a blind date and it's been like this ever since. 

I have the same issue, except I'm on PC and it's the lounge lot in Ciudad. It worked fine and then after the latest update suddenly this started happening. I tried repairing the game, and bulldozing the lot and changing the lot to generic and then place the lounge lot again, but I get the same error. My sim can load the park in Ciudad without problem. The lounge lot has the celebrity hot-spot trait and there's an 'event' happening that makes it crash I think. Possible it's the lots that have events that is causing the bug. 

I seem to be unable to fix it, it just keeps telling me to relaunch each time

I've had this same issue.  I'm playing on the University map any time I tried to go to a public place it would fail to load.  I'm currently stuck bc it's failing to load graduation.

I am also experiencing this everytime a travel to lot! :(

I have exactly the same problem. I'm not using any mods or custom content.

I managed to bypass this by going to the overworld and moving the character out of college - just didn't get the graduation scenes. but then I tried to go somewhere with a friend for an event, and it crashed and I'm stuck unless I'd like to move again, so, ya know. Sort of a work around.

just posting to say i'm also experiencing the same bug 😞 my sim finished a date and i get the "failed to load game" error when trying to leave the lot - this happens whether i use the "go home" command or if i select the "travel" option on the phone.

I have removed my cache, all last exception errors as well as repair the game. I have no cc or custom content. I was playing the game for a while, I went to travel and that's when the first error code started. I am not able to load any of my game files.
