Same here - coupled with the fact that the classes are not matching the skills (comp sci builds mischief skill), it's making it pretty difficult to play. 

I'm having this same error; error message when I try to travel to ThriftTea.  the game goes from the loading screen to an error message on the world screen.  So far, my game is okay as long as I don't try to visit the lot but the store has a yellow triangle over it when I hover my mouse over it.  I don't have any mods or cc and this started after the last update.  I have repaired the game twice so I hope there is a fix soon.

So, hi, me again. I bring you bad news and kind of "good" news too.

Bad news first: The bug (or a similar one) is happening with another community lot type too (Bar). At first, I thought it was rather awkward because I had successfully visited a Disco and another Bar in the same save file.

But then I realized I didn't travel to the Bar the first time (when it didn't crash). It was a residential lot and I changed the lot type after the Sims arrived.

So... "good" news: the error didn't occur when I entered to edit the lot type, nor when I changed it a second time with Sims visiting!

For now, if you want to play with ThrifTea or other bugged lots, I'd suggest doing this: change the lot type to one that has no conflict (like a residential lot) and change it back after traveling. I've tested this a few times and it seems to be okay. But of course, copy your save files just in case, lol.

Besides that, this error code is different; it might be pointing to another lot type or something like that.

What MitziWho says about the save files date is even stranger, but it might be interesting to test too. I don't know if I have a save file older than this year, but it might be worth trying.

I just got this same error message. I think its when you try to travel option in the phone. I was able to fix it by clicking on her lot from maps view and clicking visit so she could go back to her lot than traveling by pressing the m key on the keyboard.

Interesting, it might be a slightly different case, because I only travel using 'm' on the keyboard and it happened anyway. I'm still trying to figure out how they messed it up that much. xD
Is there a new lot type in the EP, or something like that? I mean, when CAS and the trait panel crashed for me, it wasn't justified either but at least it was kinda understandable because they added features to those parts, but regarding lot types and the travel action?! xD

Also getting this error code when trying to load Darby's Den, and this is after patching it with the hot"fix".

I have the same issue as well with thriftea, I was able to fix it by loading into the lot on build mode and then going back but now I am having the same issue trying to go to a nightclub in oasis springs for the talent showcase :( The fix from before is not working this time

I’ve been encountering this same issue since yesterday. Especially with trying to travel to the library in Britechester, but just now has also spread to San Myshuno. Keeps coming up with the Stargazer lounge as incomplete and same error when I tried to move my sims date to that location. No mods or cc and restarting the game isn’t seeming to help fix any issues either. 

This is exactly what's happening in my game too. With the Poetry Night pop up and everything. I noticed I can't go to the pub in Britechester either. 

So after trial and error I got my game to work: by going to my sims lot and instead of selecting the play button I selected the car to travel to with my sim to that lot. The game thought my sim was at a different lot, the lot I initially tried to travel with before I got this error message or before I exited the game so I travelled back to my main lot from the worlds menu instead of clicking play and then I was able to play like normal. 

I figured out I can only travel by phone to places and leave by clicking the home button on my sim. I cannot travel any other way. Dates & Hangouts are completely broken for me. If your sim is a homebody you should be relatively safe but anytime I tried to go on a date with someone to another lot it just brought up this same error message and so I would repeat the above steps, I can only do regular dates at home or go to a lot by travelling by phone, and then inviting a sim to that lot. 

It is safe to say though after I did a lot of research today that this patch broke the game somehow and I am sure they are probably fixing it because my socials feeds were loaded with the same issues. 

Hope this hopes anyone. I am on PC so Im not sure if this works on consoles. Again:  I loaded my save from the menu and it came up with this same error message but you just exit out of this message, travel to the lot with your sim instead of hitting the play button and your game should work for the time being until theres a patch hopefully. 💚
