Failed to launch error when using CC

After updating my game i had nothing but issues with it itll open up and im able to make a sim and pick a world pick a lot and it acts like it is loading me into the game to build on the lot but it just brings me back to menu to pick a world i thought maybe it had to do with my mods so i made sure they were all updated   (all are fully up to date) and tried again same issue so i even removed all my mods and cc and tried again and no luck it keeps acting like itll load into the game but puts me right back to pick a world to live in i tried everything possible and absolutely no luck with any of it 

I had the same issue, however I have resolved mine by removing the free kit which I downloaded from the new marketplace. Since uninstalling the kit, I no longer get the issue. I suspect that the issue is related to the game being unsure where to locate the kit (as it is now located in a different place to all the other game pack files)

To everyone who thinks the problem is CC it's not! it's does't matter if  you run batch fixes, try update the CC, take out some part and put back again nothing will work!!  why? BECAUSE THE PROBLEM IT'S IN THE GAME for some reason the CC ins't recognised right be the game, and well.. you game will not launch. so you can try do a 50/50 but, in the state game is the same CC you put and the you load you game one time it can be same one that your game won't start again after.. all these years being a fan of franchise, to TS2, TS3 e TS4 i'm never see a game in such ridiculous state that is right now.. what a damage their done with this **bleep** marketplace. my game will never load if a not take my CC (Tested multiple times) and this make me completely lose the interest in the game.. also i'm gonna back enjoying the sims 3 again.. and see if this game can be fixed one day. (If they can't fixed this they  proving that they really were monopolizing CC to marketplace).

I didn't get any error popups; the game just wouldn't launch. Steps I have taken:

Move Mods folder to desktop

Move Sims 4 folder to desktop

Restart PC

Launch TS4 - successful but when I then closed it down, I got an error popup saying something like my graphics card was unrecognized (it didn't stay on screen long enough for me to read it in full).

Move save files into new saves folder within new Sims 4 folder.

Restart PC

Launch TS4 - successfully thus far. I'm going to manage without my mods or cc for now.

Dxdiag attached because I've never had any issues with my graphics card before and it's saying no problems found so am somewhat confused!

It’s not you, the cc that’s “broken” is inconsistent which makes doing 50/50 method virtually impossible. They really need to fix this.

i tried making the new folder, and i copied cc and mods to the new folder, the sims game worked perfectly fine, but when i try bringing back my old folder, it won't work again, so i know it had nothing to do with my cc and mods, what is this ;(

 I bought the new bundle I got teh horse ranch, laundry day, and parenthood. I was wondering why I cant access them? Ive relouded the game multiple times and force quit too.

After 3 days of endless crashes, I gave up on trying to fix my game.... EA has 2 options now...

1. Find that bug and fix it ASAP

2. Rollback the entire patch and throw the entire Marketplace where it belongs, into the garbage bin... then encase the bin  into concrete, throw it into the deepest part of the ocean and never bring it back ever again!

I am voting for option 2!

I have removed all my CC and mods from my folder. Then I started testing file by file (or creator by creator in batches, which files cause my game not to launch). I had around 4K files of CCt, so it was a big task. Last night I thought I had figured it out, and the game was launching fine with the removed CC. This morning when I tried to open my game again, I got the error message once more, so I am not sure what has happened. When I was testing, there were some files which prevented the game from launching , but when I pressed play a second or third time while they were in my folder, the game would launch. I am not sure whether it is broken CC or something else, but yeah, it seems random with what CC the game would and wouldn't load, as last night it was fine and this morning it is not. 

I did it similar, if it takes me more than 4 tries, time to deleted localthumbcache and resource, and start the EA App as an admin. Then it launches on the second try usually. I have 30GB of CC.
