Failed to launch error/Fully Black Screen when using CC

if you are still having problems try this... i'm not sure if this will work for you but i was having similar issues. i stopped one drive from syncing my documents folder (which is where my games mods folder is buried) and that fixed it for me

I have to leave for work in 15 minutes, but I RAN to my computer and almost cried when I saw “game update required”. I updated, and am so tempted to call in sick so I can play for the first time in god knows how long 🥹🥲 t-minus 12 hours until I can play!!!

I have old CC and I can finally play, I encourage you to try updating and see what happens

I can confirm that my game is also working.  All CC & mods loaded in fine. I did manually make new folders for them as well as clearing cache, verifying files, repairing app, and all that technical jazz. So far, there has been no issues. I will update my post if I do encounter any. So, thank you.

The absolute divine relief of having the game launch immediately! I'm off to play byeeeee. 

After a painful week it finally worked! I hope EA will take thins incident into serious consideration before they roll out the next update.

My mods folder is around 120gb, with a bit of older CC from before 2020 and it's appearing now to load consistently with no more fails/error messages for me 

Can someone confirm if the game launches for you, do you have any cc older than 2020?

I just updated and It seems to be fixed now, I managed to laun in with all my cc and everything is working fine. I really missed playing.
