[FR] No new marble after 'Playing for keeps'

although there have been reports in the past for this, please make sure to test a vanilla game

To verify on a vanilla game, move your mods folder to the desktop and delete the following files from your user folder.

-  localthumbcache
-  Any lastException Files
-  Any LastCrash files.

Test a backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back.

Please also pick a thread that for your platform.

I have just tested on a vanilla game and have experienced the same issue as I did with the mods in. I've also updated the tags to show that I'm playing on PC(I think that's what you asked me to do). Also, I'm not sure if intentional but when my sim loses in play for keeps the marble simply disappears even if the other sim is in their household.

I have the same issue and have never used mods.  My kid wins, but never gets a new marble.  I play on PC. Now I remember why I never use the marbles game in Sims 4...it's been a while and I wanted to complete the marble collection through game play as a kid...it's an impossible dream and their marble jar remains empty <sigh>.

mdbee I found that adults can rummage for marbles in the pet toy box. Maybe this helps.

I can confirm. My sim child wins but only gets its own marble back, not the marble of the opponent

Whoever edits the web site should move this item on the laundry list from Growing Together to under the For Rent section, but regardless, hooray for bug fix day!

Winning the marble game will now add new marbles to the child Sim's inventory.

Fixed in Patch 1.119.109/2.23
