Have seen many posts reporting the same issue being told that the issue has been resolved in recent patches. The issue still persists.
When using the manage household screen. When I look at units and furnishings values without a family selected I am able to see the correct rental and furnishings values. As soon as I have a family selected value says £0 rent and £0 furnishings.

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Persistant issues since launch as reported by other users
