Ive been having this problem for a few day, but I can't save anything to my library, both from the Gallery or my own sims/lots. I'm also missing all of my own sims and lots from the past 3 years, but the lots and sims I had saved from the gallery are still there. It is not a storage issue, I've tried taking out all of my mods, repairing the game, and uninstalling and reinstalling. At this point, I'm at a loss and don't really know what else I can do. Please help!!
The tray files also seem to be saving to the folder as well, theyre just not showing up in my library
I'm having the same issue.. done everything possible to try fix my game. Just putting myself here too so you know you're not alone on this.

are you using oneDrive ?
Could you check which folder the game uses: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/
Also be aware that the sorting in the gallery changed to most popular. Do you have anything showing if you switch to newest ?
Oh my god it was sorting to Most Popular in my library. I could've sworn I clicked the Newest button... 🤦 Sigh... I cannot believe it was just that lol. Thank you my friend
