Thanks for providing this feedback! We relayed this back to studio and can confirm that we'll be reverting the Gallery default sort order to be "Newest" rather than "Most Popular" again in our next Base Game update, likely coming in May but our Laundry List will confirm when it's locked in.
Again, this is the wrong "solution" too. Just make the gallery save our settings PERMANENTLY and not reset them once we close the window. It really cant be this hard to return the control FULLY to the players instead of doing... this.
