PlayStation 5 and I own all DLC except for a few kits that weren't that great in my opinion. I want to make it clear I'm not by any means famous on the gallery or getting thousands of downloads regularly but My uploads literally never have zero downloads I mean sometimes it'll be as low as like 15 if it's just a room or something but everything I've posted to the gallery since Moola was added to PC I'm just getting like hardly any downloads and it's worse after console got moolah. and I'm just kind of wondering if the gallery is functioning differently? cuz it kind of seems like my uploads are only being shown to like console players or something. like it just seems like they're visually not popping up for people when they search a hashtag or something that's in my title. I have not tested this but I have a ridiculous amount of uploads that have 0 downloads and then a few with up to four downloads. and like that's fine if people just don't want to download my stuff after looking at it but it just seems very suspicious. especially when I usually get somewhere between 15 and 300 downloads per upload. like the last thing I uploaded before all this moolah stuff happened has 199 downloads the one before 80 the one before 70 and now all my stuff has zero to four downloads except for like one thing that has 24 downloads which I still consider pretty low especially when the rest of them are closer to zero. I just don't understand what's going on and it's really fishy. like I said if people don't really like what I'm putting out and are actually seeing it and just don't want to download it it's fine and obviously some things I make people are going to like more than others but it just seems like they're actually not being listed on the gallery for everyone I just don't understand who it is that's actually seeing it but it's a very small pool of people that seem to even be seeing it. and before someone comes in here with unique download blah blah blah I know. it's not that. like don't get me wrong My download averages shrink after that but I at least know what's going on there and I'm fine with it not counting as to downloads of someone the same person downloads it twice. I'm having a visibility issue. that or maybe it's just not counting my downloads at all but that seems less likely to me. The pictures included are what's going on. The image with a higher amount of downloads is prior to all these recent updates to the maker space and gallery. The ones with like full zeros and and a handful of downloads are after. and I know that with time comes exposure so I'm sure they'll get more but it just seems deceitfully off. Even on first day of uploading something I'll usually get a handful of downloads but it just feels weirdly low especially with some of my stuff that's been up for Weeks now having like 5 downloads. like maybe the Sims is just falling off and no one's using the gallery but it just doesn't seem like number wise that it's working properly. like at 5% of people who see my stuff downloaded it before it feels like it's .5 now. as I mentioned before my highest suspicion is that it's only showing to other people playing on console or PlayStation but I don't have a way to prove that and I don't really know what's going on.
Gallery is I believe still defaulted at "Most Popular" when before it was "Newest" (after the fairly big Gallery Update change).
This resulted into two different issues: first was low to very low visibility of new gallery uploads, and second searching ones own library was resulting into tedious re-settling/each time to "newest" to find your current Sims/Households/Builds.
I believe they intend to revert this after the backlash of feedback but I do not think it is implemented yet.
I hear what you're saying and I suppose that could be the issue but I'm still very suspicious that I only getting shown to other console players even when sorted properly. cuz honestly I tested it and when I sort it the way that you're saying people are having issue with all the other items that come up along next to mine have a bunch of downloads so I know that they're visually getting seen even though we're getting uploaded at the same time and not to be a rude person because that's not what my goal is here but I can assure you it is not because my stuff was lower quality I personally feel vice versa and I'm sure anyone that looked at it would agree. The only issue I have is I can only test it on console so I can't really tell if my stuff is genuinely popping up for everyone or if it's just a small pool. like if I tested it and all the ones around mine that were visibly much worse I'm so sorry that sounds so mean but like I if tested it like I sorted by title hashtags a few different things and it showed that we all had low downloads I'd be more understanding but every time I tested it it seemed like mine were the only ones getting zero. and like I said if someone just doesn't want to download it that's okay but it just genuinely seems like it's not getting seen because if it's right next to a few things that someone who's not playing very seriously uploaded at the same time as me with the same tags but they're getting higher visibility and more downloads it's just very suspicious.

Maybe you are a victim of circumstance? There are people boycotting Sims 4 atm, and many people not playing after recent updates have broken their game, and are waiting for fixes.
not to sound like an idiot but I don't know what victim of circumstance means I'm so sorry. and I honestly can't blame them. but as someone with 8,000 hours on the Sims I can usually work around it's brokenness as maddening as it is lol. also it bleeped me for saying not a swear word? I just want to be clear that I'm not cursing it anyone.
A "victim of circumstance" is someone negatively affected by uncontrollable events or situations beyond their control, rather than their own actions.
