Gallery/CAS Issues

I am playing on a PS5 and I am still having issues with the gallery and not being able to download tattoos. In CAS the game is acting weird where sometimes it lets me open up households from my gallery to edit. While other times the screen is darker and I see my character but I can't do anything. Also I attempted layering and I had no luck in doing so. Maybe I wasn't doing it right I'm not sure

Just tried playing for a little bit game started acting stupid when I tried to cook something the screen went a little darker where I could still see everything but I had to close out of the game because it was stuck
