Game crashing on PS5 when saving after marketplace update

Hello, after the most recent update which introduced marketplace for consoles, my game will not consistently allow me to save. I’m able to open the menu, click save game, and select which save slot I’d like to save to. The spinning icon will then momentarily appear, and then my game will crash before it’s able to complete the save. This seems to be occurring every 1 to 3 save attempts. I am able to save sometimes, although I seem to have extreme difficulty other times. It would consistently happen to one of my families in live mode, who had just moved into a home. It seemed to always happen after I had upgraded some furniture/appliances, or activated the little roomba-like vacuums.

For context, I own all the dlc for the game, but am not using any external mods as I am on PS5. I have tried deleting the cache and rebuilding the database on my console, as well as deleting the game’s autosave file, but the save issue continues to happen. I’m also experiencing other issues others have mentioned after this update, such as having to click through every single one of the pack welcome screens when booting the game, and occasional game freezes when navigating the gallery. To save myself from any further frustration, I will not be playing the game/spending money on it until the next hotfix patch is released.
