Game Freezes seconds into loading every time

Game is freezing just seconds into playing every time on a specific save file i was using when i got the 2.30 update. but other older save files work.

sounds can still be heard like a frog ect. curser is frozen also and no buttons not even the settings button work.

latest save file attached had the following changes before it crashed- i had just finished discovery quest royals pack, changed male sim to be able to get pregnant, got pregnant, had the child ghost show up in royals world that you try to communicate with, earthquake and had a scandal, 2.30 update.
Ghost, earthquake and scandal and update were just before it happened though along with i then saved to a new file also, rather than overwriting.

diagnostics done:
cleared cache
rebuilt database
deleted user files
loaded another game then back to broken game

restarted ps5 about 10 times over 24hrs

i was always on fast-forward when it broke but i dont know if that's a coincidence, so i reloaded the game and went to test not fast-forwarding thats when i realised it was no longer broken fast-forwarding or not. reloading the save file worked temporarily, but broke again.
one of the times it sent a crash report, on 25/02/2026 at around 4pm - 8pm gmt+10

PS5 latest update
sims version 2.30
no mods / no cheats / no cc

workaround:
load another game and then go back into the broken game but may refreeze again

EDIT: this is now happenning on all save files and I completely cannot play previous save files at all now, only "new game"
