First I couldn't click on anything once I opened the child's simology panel, I couldn't scroll down on it which was the first thing I noticed was broken, then I couldn't open her inventory, switch to build mode of even save the game. After a restart the same thing happened so I restarted again and didn't go near her simology panel. However, I then was unable to get an adult sim to cook a cake, no options came up after clicking 'cook'. I tried to leave the world and go back in but it didn't work, and then the screen went black although the time was still ticking on. Please fix this ASAP as it's not playable! I have never played with mods or CC.

So happy I’m not the only one I just had my first get to know you date and I didn’t even get to save it. I was stuck the loading screen forever.
I don't know if this is happening to anyone else, but my build buy is not working. Every time I try to go into Build/Buy to make a room up for rent it does not load the grids show up but the items don't. When I try to get out of the mode my entire game glitches and freezes. I downloaded the new expansion and updated my game, which still happens.
I updated my game because i couldn't play if i didn't even if i went offline and when i opened it i went to make a new sim (downloaded some more cc) and it froze and gave me a white screen so i uninstalled it and downloaded it again and then took my mods off and it worked but all the button were messed up and nothing would work... :(
so i updated my game and I can't even play my Sims household! Is it getting unplayable?
I found this issue as well but I realized you have to take to repair the game and remove mods.

Still can’t believe it’s not working. After they put another update
I updated my sims 4 on my PS4 on Tuesday. Ever since I can not use any of the features on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, if I try to click them my entire game freezes & I have to force quit. I have no mods & cheats are not enabled.
As I was playing my game per usual, I went to click on the milestones after I click the button first of all the panel didn’t even want to pop up and then second of all when I went to exit out to restart the game it wasn’t letting me sign out so I had to completely restart my computer And it’s still bugging out
The same thing has been happening to me. I logged in yesterday and it forced me to update the game. I also realized that MCCC is not showing up, which made me delete and reinstall it but it only popped up on my sims. But the icons are all different, at first I thought it was a part of the new update but the more I tried to play the more my game would freeze. I couldn't even save it to exit it wouldn't let me so. had to force quit it. But today when I tried to play I had another update and it didn't help at all so its not just you.
