First I couldn't click on anything once I opened the child's simology panel, I couldn't scroll down on it which was the first thing I noticed was broken, then I couldn't open her inventory, switch to build mode of even save the game. After a restart the same thing happened so I restarted again and didn't go near her simology panel. However, I then was unable to get an adult sim to cook a cake, no options came up after clicking 'cook'. I tried to leave the world and go back in but it didn't work, and then the screen went black although the time was still ticking on. Please fix this ASAP as it's not playable! I have never played with mods or CC.

Since the second update from 24th july I have the same problem. It will work ok for a while and then suddenly it stops working.
I manage to save by clicking "save and go to manage world" but the screen only turns back and doesn't go to manage worlds.
Same :( And I have no mods, uninstalled and reinstalled and also tried to repair via the EA app, nada

It doesn't go to manage worlds but the game is saved and I can continue where I left it the last time.
Still is a pain to play the game.

Ugh I’m so upset because yesterday and today were my only days off and I can’t play because it’s completely broken :( can’t save or look at inventory or cook or aaaahhhhh. Being a 27 year old brat throwing a tantrum rn 😂

The exact same issue is happening to me! I noticed when I go to modify or change my sims outfits the the loading screen to go to CAS doesn't load and I hear both music playing at the same time. ALSO I can't use the button to change my sims oufit, and I cannot exit the game properly. I removed all new mods I had just installed and it still does not work. The update made my game un-playable. 😠
Having the same issue here. Also tried the repair option and it did not help. Hopefully it’s fixed soon
My Sim grew up and there is now no longer the option to choose traits for them. Unfortunately this is the least of the problems since the update. The update has ruined the game completely, making it unplayable. It freezes when I go into build mode or edit Sim mode. When the game freezes there is also no longer the option to save the game or exit the game so I have to force the game to close from the task manager. I have tried repairing the game but it makes no difference.
