First I couldn't click on anything once I opened the child's simology panel, I couldn't scroll down on it which was the first thing I noticed was broken, then I couldn't open her inventory, switch to build mode of even save the game. After a restart the same thing happened so I restarted again and didn't go near her simology panel. However, I then was unable to get an adult sim to cook a cake, no options came up after clicking 'cook'. I tried to leave the world and go back in but it didn't work, and then the screen went black although the time was still ticking on. Please fix this ASAP as it's not playable! I have never played with mods or CC.

I can't save either. On Xbox Series X. It let me save one time, but after playing for another half hour it suddenly won't let me save at all. Clicking the three dots does nothing.
Since the last update (as of July 24, 2024), nothing is working in the game anymore. When I am in the game and want to play, I can't open any "tabs". That means I can't check on how my Sims are doing, their relationships, and so on. Additionally, the calendar and phone cannot be opened either.
I'm having the same issues but I don't have any teens.
Same for me, and I disabled all of my mods.
I heard there was going to be a second update today and some people are saying it’s already came out for them but not for me yet. My game has been broken since yesterday can’t save or travel it keeps saying game loading process
look if you have UI extension mod, thats what causing it
Same thing happened to me. After the update I could only see my sim's needs but nothing else (career, friends etc), if I try and go into CAS, the screen just goes black (same with trying to go into manage worlds). I have tried moving my mods folder, restarting the game multiple times, restarting my computer, repairing the game over and over, but nothing works.
Since the 07/23/24 update, my game is broken.
In anticipation of the update I had removed my cc's and mods and put my saves elsewhere.
After the update, I launched the game without mods or CCs and yet since the update, my game keeps loading continuously, the loading screen never stops.
Impossible to play.I had a baby which i aged up twice to a child using a cake and the aspirations never showed up. So i saved the game exited the game completely… i see the crib she was in like five minutes ago but my kid is gone! No kid at all. She just vanished. Wtf?! I hope she pops up again.
I have this same issue. My cursor disappears making it impossible to select anything. It’s just not playable.
