First I couldn't click on anything once I opened the child's simology panel, I couldn't scroll down on it which was the first thing I noticed was broken, then I couldn't open her inventory, switch to build mode of even save the game. After a restart the same thing happened so I restarted again and didn't go near her simology panel. However, I then was unable to get an adult sim to cook a cake, no options came up after clicking 'cook'. I tried to leave the world and go back in but it didn't work, and then the screen went black although the time was still ticking on. Please fix this ASAP as it's not playable! I have never played with mods or CC.

Since the update yesterday 07/23/2024 my game keeps crashing. I do not have any mods or modifications besides the update. I had tried resetting my computer, repair sims 4 game and restarting several times. It will work for 10 minutes then crash to the point you can't exit game. You can't do anything or click anything. It's frustrating.

Fishing signs don't work. Adult sim pathing randomly breaks and tries to go straight to something rather then a clear route. Child cannot change aspirations. Everyone is fighting swear this game is now fight club. The baby is needing to be changed and fed every sim hour. Needless to say I cannot play this the way it is. Occasionally sims become unclickable like they are NPC. I've tried vanilla emptying out my mods and with mods - with mods it's at least playable till you want to do something in particular.
I couldn’t even click on simology. My cursor disappears. Build/buy mode doesn’t load. Nothing loads when trying to select travel from the phone. And if I click manage world, my screen goes black.
Is anyone else unable to save their game? I took out all the mods and deleted local thumb cache and it still doesn’t work. It says ‘game loading in progress.’ Anybody else??
Seems like we are all having the same problem!! Hope this gets fixed soon :| This is my week off and I was really itching to play the sims xD

Glad I’m not the only one having this issue. Can’t save my games.
I've had the exact same thing. Removed all the mods, cleared the cache and repaired the game. No success. Why was this not play tested before release. Very annoying. I've paid for sims for years and tbh as a consumer I won't be getting any more packs it's not worth the price anymore for me. Each pack and update comes with problems.
Same problems several times here! crash and again and again, no matter what I try.
