Game will not load at startup

My game will not load at startup.  I tried a forced/hard restart several times and it would not load.  I uninstalled all packs and reinstalled and it would not load.  I uninstalled all packs again, and only installed the base game-  the game loaded at that point so I installed only certain packs that I wanted at the time.  I played the game for a couple of hours and then shut it down.  The next day, the game, once again, would not load.
