Garden not producing harvestables

after the new september 18 2025 update, my sim's garden is not producing any harvestables. no matter how many days i play, nothing grows in the morning. all my plants are sheltered, and they still need tending to, like watering and weeding, but no harvestables.

i only have cc skins and lashes and mc command center and ui cheats mod.

Mine too. I am also unable to plant anything, can't drag it from inventory or through 'plant' on the garden patch

This is happening to me too. Even if I set the gardening state to blossom. What's weird is I planted a couple plants earlier and they produced harvestable one time.  Then I noticed my sims inventory disappearing due to outdated mods, the other known sept 18 update bug. I added the BetterExceptions mod, deleted some mod files from Lumpinou that were causing issues, but I'm pretty sure they were pregnancy mods of all things. I went to another save file where I had a greenhouse with another household and after harvesting the plants, setting the gardening state to blossom still wasn't working.

I have the same issue. I even turned off mods to see if that's the problem, but it's not. Even in base game plants don't grow.

Omgggg has this been fixed yet? Mine happened after the update as well and I haven’t touched my game since. My garden was my sims income and my farm was almost perfect :(

I've been having the exact same problem. I'm guessing my sim's inability to keep anything harvested from other plants in her inventory is related.

The only thing that changed for me - was that I was able to water the plants.  I hoped it would lead to me being able to harvest the plants.  But, no.  It's not even an option on the menu that appears.  I can fertilize and now Water?, but nothing else.

I was too scared too as I am sure someone said they did that - and were left with mounds of earth and no plants.  I will be brave and try with one plant.  Fingers crossed.  Thank you by the way.

I did.  Now here's the weird part.  I replanted four of them and they grew and no harvest.  I can weed, fertilize but no harvest.  Took the family on holiday to Granite Falls.  The mother was able to harvest like a mad women.  So apparently - in my game - they have to go on holiday to harvest.

I will keep trying in terms of replanting and hoping.  But, to get by I am using Ravensheen's credit card mod - that allows me to buy every fruit/veg the game has.  I can also use it to get every single milk variation the game has.  So I am using the Golden Milk - to golden pulse the veg/fruit to perfection.    (I had never heard of golden milk - until I got Ravensheen's card).  I thought I knew everything about the game - but, am learning a lot).

Anyway thank you for asking.  I greatly appreciate it.

I’ve had the same issue. It started when all the items in my sims inventory just disappeared.
I even tried to start a new save, doesn’t fix it.
I tried different families, same issues.
There are other thread where people have the same problem.

I replanted half of my garden and they are producing fruits and vegetables.  I have never been so excited to see a tomato in my life.  Thank you for all of your help.  Greatly appreciate it.

Lol.  Thank you so much.  I now have a garden full of fruits and vegetables.  And I no longer mind that it takes literally 6 years to harvest, water, weed and now fertilize.  My smile was so wide.  Thank you Thank you.

Unfortunately, you have to replant everything. But it works, my garden is producing harvestables again !!

Has this problem been resolved? I am having the same issue and have been for a couple of months. I'm also having issues with the plants and education books disappearing from their inventory. The disappearing happens when I close the game. When I log back on, they are gone again.

This is happening to me in a completely new world, with a new family that planted the plants. They have matured but not fruited.

    Hi

In regards to the missing inventory - you should be on this page - I have put a link below.  It is to do with MC Command Centre  mod - that needs updating.  Please see the link below.  And with the plants I had this problem for so long I lost the will to live.  But, after the update before this last update and with the help/advice of another sim player TZgrace I was able to get the plants back.  I started slowly - just in case one by one replanting.  And eventually they grew back.  I basically used build/buy to remove the old none growing plants - and then I had my sim replant the plants.  Eventually they grew back slowly.    (Basically if you can see fruit/vegetables in communal gardens outside where your sim lives - then you should be able to grow your plants, by replanting).  My fingers are crossed for you fellow simmer.

Here is the link for the missing inventory:
