My Sim is an actor. The sim goes to his audition. He leaves the house and is at the rabbit hole. And after the audition is over, I don't get the pop-up saying if he passed or failed. In fact, he just comes home and the career panel says he still has the audition at that time. I've tried several times and I still get the same result.

Adding my “me too” to this thread since there was quite a long list of complaints on this issue on the other “archived” forum. I randomly had one audition that correctly updated yesterday. But it was an aberration. The problem continues most of the time. The only way I found is to travel to another lot, in which case the audition will update to the gig requirements.

Here is a new anecdotal observation for what it’s worth. I have two Sims in the same household. Both of them are at the level of seasoned thespian. They both signed up for auditions at the same time, 9 AM. One auditioned for the Sheriff from Alpha Centauri. The other auditioned for Tournament of Honor. They both returned from their auditions at approximately the same moment. The alpha Centauri audition was passed and updated to provide the appropriate pre-gig tasks. There was the usual notification of “audition passed!” The other Sim received no notification. And their audition for Tournament of Honor continued to say Starts 9 AM (which was now 2 1/2 hours ago). Sure enough, when I traveled the Sims to another lot, his audition updated to the scheduled gig/tasks for Tournament of Honor. It’s very strange that the “audition glitch” would hit one Sim in the same household but not the other Sim?
I'm having this issue right now as well. I have to save and go to manage worlds every time she comes back from an audition and then it shows up with the gig. So frustrating!
Playstation user. No mods or CC. Unable to modify files for troubleshooting. Various issues regarding gigs as an actor. Accept gig and missing ui requirements. Now after doing a celeb cleanse audition gets stuck and will not progress to next step.

If that can help, it seems to be related to a gender preference test performed when the audition is validated (if I understand the tuning well, to select the co-star gender) that doesn't seem to work as expected.
