Ideas
emilyslowsimmer Thanks for the additional information. I now have a clearer idea of what the issue is. From what you've described, the issue is the wall that I mentioned not displaying the wall paint on the back wall of the lower-level room with the glass walls. Tbh, I'm not sure if this can be fixed because of the differences between how basements and above ground floors work and display when you delete the floor/ceiling between them. I would like to test the build to see if I can find any way around it so it looks correct when looking down from the upper floor.
On the 2nd issue, there's not much you can do about that. It's the way walls display in drop down mode. When you have walls all the way up, it looks solid but when the walls are set to either drop down or all the way down, you're going to get what you see.
Hope this helps.

Hi again!
So sadly I noticed now that I edited the exact build from the screenshots to not include the glitchy basement after I posted and before I got the reply, but since then YTber SatchOnSims has posted a video where he encounters the same glitch while trying to build something very similar to what I did. Here is the video, I put the timestamp on the right spot where he starts to show off this glitch and how it is happening with stairs/plaftorms and at this point he shows of what happens to the back wall.
