I'm unable to click the link in to the old bug report as it redirects to the homepage, but if this is the error where they miss the milestone and get the next one with blocks/flashcards, I have had the same problem. I was somewhat able to get around it by cheating the Sim's skills back down to 2-3 and having them go through the action again with an adult Sim, but it is a very persistent and annoying issue to keep dealing with in every game with infants and toddlers.
