This has just just started happening in the last few days with my sim family. I'm constantly having to purchase medicine. They're getting sick just about every sim day. I am playing with mods but this has never been an issue in the past - in fact they rarely got sick. I have most of the packs but don't have the new fairies one, playing on PC.

Version: 1.117.227.xxxx
Platform: PC/Steam
Packs: AllMods: N/A
Issue: Sims seem to contract the Get to Work illness too frequently. I have a testing family and they'll contract the illness, be given medicine, and be fine for a day - only to reacquire the illness.
Steps to reproduce: Happens in normal playing.
Expected result: Fewer instances of this occurring

Um, not sure robots catch colds, but ok!

Same here! I don’t have enchanted by nature. My sims are constantly getting sick with the Get to Work illnesses. My doctor sim is supposed to be resistant to illness but gets sick every few days.

My sims are constantly sick even after removing and turning off all mods. This was after an update in August. I'm not sure what else I can do.

Hi WIZKHAL
to be sure, this is about the ailments from Enchanted by nature (gathered as much from your title I've adjusted but just making it's not about the GTW sicknesses)
How did you remove your mods/cc ? Did you try game repair ?
This was tuned down and there's now options you can set if you don't want to deal with the ailments.

I don't have the Enchanted by nature pack so I'm not sure that would be the cause. It does look like the GTW sicknesses. Can you show me options/direct me on how to set it where I don't have to deal with ailments. I didn't try to repair my game I will do that now.

I just tried to repair the game and the ailments are still there. I think they are GTW illness because one sim has "gas and giggles" the other has the "burning belly" illness.

Hi WIZKHAL
merging your post with the GTW issue then. Thought you meant the EBN ones cause you put ailment in your title :D
I don't think you can turn of GTW sicknesses but I'm unsure. Can't currently check the game. Check the game options.
