Guests won't leave!!

Anyone have a problem with guests not leaving their home? I had a sim that my child formed a group with enter my house after they were done playing. I selected the "send home" option, and the notification popped up that she needed to head home, except she didn't. I tried again to select "send home" But it disappeared... my guess is because I already asked her to leave. I tried resetting the sim and seeing if they would go home automatically, but they didn't. My only other option is to forma a group with the sim, take them off the lot, and then leave them there. This takes up a lot of time though and makes me not want to have anyone over. So frustrating!!

Home invasion and guest not leaving have many causes. This thread is for invited guests not leaving after pressing Send Home.

    This sim that I invited over to my households lot will not leave. I also do not have a 'send home' option either. I have tried resetting the sim and she still doesn't leave. She has been living at my sims home for several sim days.

    I held winterfest at the house with guests and invited over clubs. can't get them to leave. 'send Home' feature is missing on every sim. I have tried to hire a butler and assigned the 'dismiss everyone' feature. no luck. I have reset the sims. no luck. I have saved the game and come back no luck. 

    2025. adventure awaits. no mods.

    I rebooted after saving after the butler showed up and I told them to remove all guests. most were gone, but still one was left over. so i turned on cheats and look for anything to remove them. I clicked on remove by rabbit rabbit. what happened next was so strange. my household sim got in a fight and died. 

    its almost like the game confused the guest with my household sim. 

    still can't find a way to get him to leave lol
