HELP IS NEEDED ASAP

For a couple days ive been avoiding sims because when i try to save, it’s endless. It just keeps loading the save never goes thru which makes make me have eventually just close out the entire game & lose progress. Do anybody have a solution to this? or will i just have to wait until a update is put out which could be for weeks.. I'm playing on the xbox series x btw
