High chairs, painting/photography bugs

My toddlers will not stay in their high chairs. You put them in the chair and they want out when the food is served and then they walk over to the nearest chair or couch and eat from there. This has been an issue for YEARS it seems like. Also after the September patch my paintings have gone white. My sim can only paint blank canvases unless placed on an actual grid… then they can paint by reference. I placed my nice paintings all over the wall, and then the next time I get on to play, they all turn white again, walls full of white paintings.  My photographs have also gone black. It’s really frustrating. I do play with mods but this still happens in a new save with mods removed. Please fix this.
