Yesterday, I updated my game to the most recent version of the sims and after I loaded in, I couldn’t load into one household. All I could do is edit my household or fix their house in build mode. Now, today, I loaded into my game and my most recent family had gotten deleted. I’m not sure if it’s because I edited the family or fixed their home without them in it but it’s just completely gone. Is anyone else having this type of issue or is it just me?

My game also did not wanted to load on my only active family in the save. I tried to go into build mode to do something else until the bug is fixed. Played for some time turned off the game. When I turned it on again to finish the build my ONLY active family is gone. Nowhere to be found. This is 100 hours of progress gone. The save icon still shows their picture but thats all. I did not saved it after it has gone missing but I have no idea what to do and how can I bring it back. Im scared to open the game again. Things like that should not happen. Also they are gone from the main screen and something weird is popping up (wwwwwww)
I did not enter the family house but edited another lot and my whole save was deleted kinda. All sims are gone

I noticed that one of my households is missing as well. The household is only made up of one sim.

- Are you using mods/cc in your game ?
- Did anyone get any lastException files ? Please copy/paste the content
- Are you getting any error codes when trying to load the families ?
- Do you have backups you could try ? If so, please make sure you keep a backup and try if it happens again.
