How to Remove the Annoying New Menu . . .

I just updated my game and discovered to my horror, a menu on the screen. Please, NO. It is distracting beyond measure. I don't need it, personally, although obviously someone thought it was needed. I just would like to disable this puppy, so I don't have to look at it. I played for all of two minutes, saved and exited to come over here, that's how distracting I found it.

I do know I have been ill, of late, and that it's possible I'm a tad bit grouchy, as a result. Please don't discount my feedback on this matter, even so. I don't play other video games, so maybe this is a thing. I don't like it at all. It's just so much clutter, unneeded and unwanted.

Thank you for your time and attention in this matter. I look forward to possible instructions as to how to remove it from my screen.

To remove it, go to Game Options, then Tutorials & Tips, then disable Help Center Icon & Controls Legend

Hey yall it seems to be happening to everyone. The new update turned on the control menu in game for some reason it's even happening on consol so here is what you do. Click the three dots in the top right corner and select game options. Then tips and tutorials and there should be a green check marked box with no writing around it click that. It will disable the menu for you. Hope this helps yall.

Same! I'm a long time Sims player and don't need it. I agree with you, it's hella distracting!
Go to Game Ops> Tutorials and Tips > unselect "Enable Help Center Icon and Controls Legend."
That should take care of it for ya. Happy Simming!
