[HSY] Can't go to school with Teens

I can't go to school with my teens ever since I got this error code 109:4fe45107:239aa048

Before that error code I had my teen sim Xander join an afterschool activity for the football team.  I clicked on him then I clicked "J" on my keyboard for jobs then scrolled down to click "go to work" for his football team afterschool activity.  When I did this I sped it up to speed 3 then saw he canceled it out so I paused my game.  I hit "J" on my keyboard once again then scrolled down to click on "go to work" again but kept it on either speed 1 or 2, but he still didn't go to his afterschool activity.  So I sent him home then in the middle of the loading screen it went to the error code that showed all the worlds that I owned with a popup that said the above error code. Error code 109:4fe45107:239aa048

I clicked the "ok" button then went to San Sequoia and went to the lot where they lived and entered their household with no issue then proceeded to wait for the next school day.  While I waited for that I had them care for their needs and boost their fun bar and do homework. During this time I saved my game.  I sped the game up on speed 3 until the next morning around 5am / 6am to have enough time for the teens to eat breakfast and use the toilet and watch a little bit of tv.  When it got close to 7:30 I put the game back on speed 1 and waited for the popup to join teens at school.

When 8 o'clock came I didn't get a high school years popup asking if I wanted to join my two teens at school.  Instead it reverted to the good ole days where teens went to school via a rabbit hole.  So I quit to the main menu then reloaded into the game and got back to where it was close to them going to school but this time before going to school I checked both of them to make sure joining them at school was on with the green "on" button.  Both of my teen boys had it enabled.  8 o'clock came and still I didn't get a popup to join my teens at school.  So I exited the game, went to my files in game and deleted the localtexture file as well as local thumb cache file then repaired my game (multiple times) and still didn't fix the issue.  I went to Facebook and Discord to share the issue I was having in hopes that either someone else was experiencing what I was experiencing and one person suggested the local thumb cache, repair the game and ea app recovery.  I gave that a try this morning and still having high school popup issue where I can't join my sims at school.  

I used to use mods and cc but they were deleted and removed from my game and mods folder.  I also have cc and script mods disabled too.  Mods folder empty.  Save file was created AFTER removing mods so mods aren't the issue here.
