(HSY) Prom completely removed?

Hi everyone! I've noticed this in several different saves, where prom is completely gone from the game. It doesn't show in the calendar, doesn't appear as an option to create a promposal sign, can't ask others to prom as friends, romantically, or to skip prom. I'll get a pop-up asking if my teen wants to go to the parties before prom, but when I accept the offer, nothing happens at all! They never get the pop-up to travel to prom, not even the after party pop-up. I've made my teen sim travel to the lot when prom was supposed to be happening, and prom wasn't working then either. I've repaired my game several times, and have zero mods, and don't even have mods enabled. Not sure if this is just a mac issue or maybe others are expieriencing this?
