That’s quite annoying.
I’ve also experienced troubles with high school years since the last patch (I'm playing on PC). Whenever my three teen Sims go together to school, the task list appears only for one teen. At the end of the day, only this Sim received an assessment of their school performance and could go home normally or do other stuff at school. The other Sims cannot. If I switch the control to my Sims at home, I also cannot get them home, and an exclamation point appears over their avatar. The only thing I can do is switch control back to them. Afterwards, I have to travel with a teen Sim home by zooming away. And I have to do this for each teen separately. Afterwards, everything is like nothing happens… And after lunch, pupils do not sit back in their classes and stand around randomly. Furthermore, my teen Sim went to a college party which is finally available, but it didn’t fulfil the aspiration. And clicking on a Sim or an object is quite delayed.
