[XB/PS] Endless Load Times
During the past 1 year I encountered endless loading multiple times. I play on console (PS4, so please don't ask me if I removed mods/CC because I can't even have any) and I own many packs: most expansion, gameplay, stuff packs and since last month 3 kits. I always have the latest version of the game, so that shouldn't be causing any problems. If I played for hours or notice minor bugs such as keys malfunctioning (no, it's not related to my keyboard) it's more likely that I'll get stuck in endless loading. I'm not saying loading screen on purpose because it also applies to saving. So far I was able to salvage these situations by just saving it as a save file instead of a lot but last time the save files didn't load either. My best bet was to save it to my library because I suspected it would cause an infinite loading screen, if I went to manage worlds anyways. The upload still froze. Recently, I had a lot of infinite loading screens. It has also happened during the current event multiple times. The only pattern I recognize is that it occurs either while traveling or while going from build mode to manage worlds. It didn't bother me that much but during the past month it has happened a lot. Houses/Lots Disappear
Issue The save game starts to disintegrate itself. Lots start to get deleted, causing endless loading, loading into empty lots. This issue has been around since the very beginning so it’s not tied to any packs. This issue possibly has a lot of different causes and hence is hard to pinpoint. There more info you have, the better. Information to provide Your platform Mod usage (Never, Removed, Yes) This is important info, not mod blaming. Are you using Memory Boost (it's only active if it's set to Enabled) Are you using OneDrive/iCloud ? Before and after save games. Please DM the link to EA. For PC: Your Computer's DxDiag? [XB/PS] Controls not responding
For people playing on a console there has been a bug in CAS for a long time where the buttons on the controller quit working. It’s a cas issue only and it’s extremely aggravating because there’s no way to save and the only option is to close out of the game and lose all progress. Would love to see this fixed at some point. I have had this problem for a few months now. The Lice Cold Retail Freezer doesn't make any money on any retail lots. Sims will come to the shop and take products out of the freezer but no money is then given. I've used different retail lots, shops with only freezers and shops with also other products on sale it doesn't matter. Products are taken out of the freezers without recieving money in return. I have no mods installed, i have the latest update, I have deleted and redownloaded the game, nothing helps. Anyone knows how this can be fixed? When playing in Henford on Bagley, I noticed that every NPC that comes with the pack (The Grocer, the Mayor, The Garden Stall Owner, The Pub Keeper, and the Creature Keeper) were doubled. Two sims with the job title above their names were appearing around the world. Both sims offered the errands, meaning my sim could complete two rounds of every errand from every NPC. Some of the duplicates were copies of the original NPCs, for example, the mayor, Lavina Chropa, had two versions of Lavina, both listed as Mayor, and both offering the same errands and rewards. Other NPCs had randomized townie versions and the original townies in Cottage Living, for example, the grocer sims were the original Kim Goldbloom, and a randomized townie just with the job title and offering errands. No complication arose from this, it honestly just allowed my sim to do more of the errands, but it does break the immersion a little when every NPC has a twin or is a completely different sim half the time. [RL] Scandal Icon not going away when cleared/Moodlet time getting longer
I have this purple exclamation point in a cloud that periodically flashes. Now, I thought it had something to do with a scandal that my Sim got involved in, since I think that's when it started. In any case, the scandal has since cleared, but I'm still getting the repeating purple exclamation point. Can anyone shed some light on this... sort of making me batty that it won't go away. [GF] Premade sims don't have any fame level
Following up on a previous report (see URL below), my current sandbox save file has an issue with celebrities that I didn’t see under the Fame & Celebrities section of the Get Famous Compiled list of reported issues. If the gameplay config for fame to be opt-in (i.e., instead of always having to quit the spotlight with all my Sims, i only have to step on the spotlight with the ones I actually want to be famous) is selected when starting a save file, no actual celebrities will be generated. Pre-made celebrities (e.g., Judith Ward) show up and have the celebrity shine and walk style, but when I click on them, there’s no celebrity level accompanying their name and there’s no celebrity-specific social interactions (e.g., ask for autograph, attempt introduction). After unchecking the option, so fame is opt-out (the default config), the game started generating actual celebrities again, with the correct social interactions and fame level under their names, but the ones who were glitched before changing back the option remain glitched (no celebrity interactions and unlocked social introductions of all kinds). Playing on console, so mod-free certified. I tried the new tattoo painting mode yesterday and after spending two hours drawing a beautiful color japanese crane tattoo, I exited the window and tried to click save, and it crashed the game. I was very frustrated so I started again this morning, tried a save after 3 strokes to see if it was working - and it was, so I painted 30minutes and tried a save in progress, and crashed again. At this point, I'm not willing to try a third time 💀Fast Forwarding freezes game
I press fast forward button, time is frozen after the game start around 10 secs and everything I can't click in. This satuation doesn't appear before the update.I try to reset the sim but it is not working.Anyone can teach me how to solve this problem?
