Sims lot not loading stuck on loading lot screen after building improvement made
Playing on PS5....To say I'm now infuriated would be an understatement. I have been on this game all day encountering the same issue and trying to resolve it to no avail. So to begin with I loaded my game up to the point of loading the player lot (glimmerbrook realm of magic)... this is where my troubles began. The lot would not load. I thought it might be a corrupted save so I painfully deleted it and started all over again. The game then loaded (new save created). But when my character left the lot to then want to return home the same thing happened again. This time I did not delete the file I moved the sim out of the lot with all their belongings in their inventory and onto an empty lot. I bulldozed the old house and then moved them back onto the lot. It then loaded again. But after building a new house again then leaving the lot I could not return again. I though maybe the lot was bugged. So I moved sim out again and restarted again on a completely different lot. Game was going great for a while, I got in and out of lot several time with no problems. But then I spent some money in build mode made my lot a bit better, bought some more stuff and now its not working again. Several times wasted today. I do not have any cheats or mods active just using the game as intended. What is going on... please help. I love the sims but lately I'm become very tired of the problems it comes with. Picture shows where the load bar gets stuck in same place all the time. Never had this issue before even using the cheats. It seems to happen after ive added things from build buy mode, but I don't know what is cause this. Has the update caused issues or is it the rewards from the grim game activities? What is going on?
[DO] Can't request table in restaurant on a date
Hello! When playing the sims 4 I have asked other sims on a date or to hang out then travel to a restaurant. When requesting a table to be seated, nothing happens. The game doesn't proceed to the next action for the couple/friends to be seated. I have repaired and updated the game, but still no solution. I have noticed that when my sim is alone and requests a table to sit and dine, they are able to do so. It only happens during an event like asking on a date or hang out. Off the grid lot challenge keeps lot from loading/ Error 109:f967dc7f
*edit: I've finally been able to fix this by deleting the off-the-grid trait off my lot. Hopefully this will get fixed soon* I've just finished the update and am now unable to load the household I've been playing with. I can open the initial home screen but the game won't load after clicking "resume". If I try and load through the saved games tab I can load the neighbourhood, but again, not the actual household/saved game. I'm also only able to end the application while on the loading screen through task manager, the x doesn't shut the window. [LS] LE/Reset when trying to do romantic interactions
Play on PC. I purchased Lovestruck and the game updated. I haven’t played since before the update. When I played today, the woohoo and try for baby interaction is there on the sims and bed, but when you click on it the sims glitch and nothing happens. Unable to try for baby. Very disappointed that I can’t play anymore because of it. How am I supposed to continue my legacy family without being able to try for baby? Please fix this bug. Teenager don't get third trait on aging/no Graduation
Just had a sim age up from a teen to a young adult. No notification popped up to select a new trait so they are stuck with 2 traits still when they should have 3. Additionally, they graduated from high school with "average rank" whilst being an A student (with the gold tick). I've only ever had sims age up with at least the "graduated with honours" trait whilst being an A student. For context, this child was adopted so unsure if this has anything to do with it, although I've had sims adopt in the past and this bug hasn't happened. This sim also didn't age up with the "high self esteem" trait from child to teen despite having high confidence as a child. Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title fit bug report at AHQ
[PS] Tasks reverting
I have had it with these new reaper rewards. I play on PlayStation 5 and ever since they dropped I haven't been able to get the rewards. I have summoned the grim reaper so many times. I'll finish the quests to do for the week 1 rewards and I'll get the rewards but if I hope off and hop back on the next day, those quests I just did are back and I have to do it again. One of the quests "A Call Away" requires you to wait for the Ambrosia Society Newsletter, I've gotten that thing about 12 times now and it's not counting towards the quest. At this point, I almost wanna just give up on the rewards. I'm tired of doing them over and over again. Ughs 😡 Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title
Overlapping festivals
The festivals from City Living keep stacking on top of one another instead of despawning. My SIM lives in 19 Culpepper House and I play on an Xbox One. I do not use any CC or mods as I am a console player I first noticed this bug yesterday 20/8/24 but it has escalated today, I tried going into manage worlds and back, visiting different lots and festival locations, and restarting the game.
