Infants are buggy since March 17th/23rd update

Ever since the update on March 17th and the hot fixes after that my game has been buggy and acting more slower.  My sims keep constantly "check infant" when infant is in crib just chilling even though the infant is fine and is green in motives.  I have to constantly cancel that interaction and when I do so it somehow resets the infants almost always which then I have to make the parents pick up the infant out of the crib then have to re-place the infant back into the crib so they can go to sleep.  This bug is so annoying and it has only happened ever since the last update.  Also I noticed at times when I use the keys on the number pad key for 0,1,2 and 3 the game spazzes out and won't recognize me pressing the buttons unless I manually press them at the bottom of the screen by clicking on them at times.  If I go down to the bottom and manually press "pause" it will do that but not 0 when I do it through the keypad even though it is on.  If I give it a few minutes after pressing pause manually the keypad will work and recognize so therefore its a game issue not my keypad.  Same goes for pressing the letter O for checking my sims needs as well as I for inventory.  The game just doesn't recognize me pressing it even though I press the letters.  No mods or cc in my game.  Been playing vanilla since December.
