Inventory items doubling when trying to delete or take out

Since downloading the new ep, when I try to delete or take things out of my sims inventory they double and then I can't do anything with it. I have to either exit the game or close the inventory but ...

I don't have the RL pack and mine is doing this, it's driving me nuts. All harvestables, photos, craftables, the lot. Nothing works including travel, exiting and restarting etc.

I'm so tired of these issues cropping up every month, it really does make the game unplayable and for the amount of money I've spent on this franchise I expect MUCH better than this :(
