Issue After Recent Update – The game failed to load. Error Code

Same here - coupled with the fact that the classes are not matching the skills (comp sci builds mischief skill), it's making it pretty difficult to play. 

I have the same issue as well with thriftea, I was able to fix it by loading into the lot on build mode and then going back but now I am having the same issue trying to go to a nightclub in oasis springs for the talent showcase :( The fix from before is not working this time

Having the same exact issue but when trying to travel to the park on the new map, and to Thriftea in Cooperdale. This really needs to be addressed asap, since its basically corrupting save files and making the game impossible to play. 

I have the same issue, except I'm on PC and it's the lounge lot in Ciudad. It worked fine and then after the latest update suddenly this started happening. I tried repairing the game, and bulldozing the lot and changing the lot to generic and then place the lounge lot again, but I get the same error. My sim can load the park in Ciudad without problem. The lounge lot has the celebrity hot-spot trait and there's an 'event' happening that makes it crash I think. Possible it's the lots that have events that is causing the bug. 

Add me to the list! I got this bug in a save a couple days prior to the Lovestruck patch. I was able to work around it by switching to another sim in the world, playing them for a few minutes, and then switching back to the original sim. 

Today and in another save, I am now experiencing this bug anytime I try to travel to a university commons lot. I've also noticed, in the same save, that some lots are often saying "unavailable" when I am looking at them in the map view. Is this new? I don't recall ever being unable to travel to a lot before. 

Currently having the same issue and unable to find a fix around it. 

I am also having a issue too when you try to make a new game the background music plays but the whole screen is white i can still access the old saves but cant make a new save game i think it had to do with the recent update because before the new lovestruck update i could make a new save i had even repaired the game several times and even restarted my PC multiple times and still nothing it still does the same thing and i haven't been playing that long about to be for one year at the end of August 

I'm having the same issue on the Britechester world. Trying to use the phone to travel gives me a 123 error code and it says to restart the game. I also get error code 0 when trying to save. On Xbox, no mods or cc

I am currently experiencing the same issue. I reinstalled, repaired and pretty much did everything I could. It's still stuck and the help service is out of reach. Please let me know in case of any updates.

Same Here!! I just encountered this error tonight when my sim tried to travel to Thriftea!! I used to the phone to travel, the load screen came up, then I picked Thriftea in Copperdale. After this, a load screen came up, but it went right back to the world menu and that's when the error popped up. After clicking okay, I was still in the world menu, but was no longer traveling with my sim.

I tried one more time, but the same thing happened. So I shut down the game, loaded back in using "load game" instead of "resume". This time, I played a different household and traveled to a residential lot instead of a community lot, and it worked just fine!

About an hour or so before I got the error, I had traveled with the same sim to one of the karaoke bars in San Myshuno without an issue. Brought her back home, the next day tried going to thriftea and got the error. I haven't tried again because I'm scared it'll corrupt my save.

Though it sucks this is happening to all of us, at least I know I'm not alone! If we keep posting about it, maybe they'll fix it ASAP!
