Laundry problem in rooms with ladder access only

Sims can't bring dirty laundry piles to the laundry machine if the clothes piles are on a floor witch only has ladder access (no stairs) and the machine is on another floor. This leads to that the dirty clothes pile up on the floor in the room with only ladder access. The only way to work around this issue is to put the clothes in the sims's inventory and make the sim climb down the ladder and then place it inworld to be picked up and taken to the hamper.
