My Sim has completed the entire soul journey, but can't respawn. When the message "Yes, Reebirth now" is confirmed, instead of the loading screen, the Sim disappears, it will still be visible in the family bar. Once you select another Sim, there is no way to select them again. (I apologize for the mistakes. English is not my language.)

I've experienced various unique bugs in the 7th year of Simsaeng, and I've had many complaints, but I've endured them with affection, but these days, the pack is so poorly made and doesn't even work properly...
What made me angry was that I was using the Life and Death pack and when I pressed <Reincarnation>, my Sim disappeared and it didn't work. The window wouldn't open and my Sim just disappeared, so I looked it up and it was an official Sims bug. It's been 5 months since it was mentioned and there's no sign of it being fixed.
I thought, 'Sims is like that, well...' and tried various things, but it seems that if it's a Sim that's been raised for a long time, the data is corrupted and it doesn't work. The only way to fix it was to restore the data before it got corrupted, that is, the save file or tray file from a long time ago.
I tried to get the data from January, but it was already corrupted...
After thinking about it, I left an inquiry in English using a translator on the official EA bug site.
Sadly, there was no answer and they didn't fix it. I'm venting my frustration and anger, wondering why I bought the death pack if I can't reincarnate...
A new pack came out today, but seeing the posts about stuttering and errors makes me feel like I'm going crazy again...😭
I have bought Life and Death Expansion, I got to where I can rebirth and it just completely broke. It isn't taking me to where it needs. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, repairing, I've tried contacting customer service and nobody is helping me. I do not use mods either
I am also still having this issue despite everything else. Everything that I have done up to this point in the expansion, and I can't even do half the dang thing. Extremely irritating as this is still an issue months later.

This is still happening, I just tried to rebirth my first ghost and they disappeared out of existence… I am so bummed out!
I have the same issue. I've had a Sim rebirth 3 times normally and this time with a different Sim, he just disappears. I found him as an infant in the "Other Households, Not in World" section and had to add him manually into the family. The CAS screen never appeared like it did with the previous Sim where it worked as designed. Now I'm afraid to let any Sim die because Rebirth isn't working correctly. I have all packs and kits, no Mods, no CC. Seems to have broken after installing the Business & Hobbies Pack. I play on a PC.

I just encountered this issue, too. My first time trying out the Rebirth feature.
My Sim has the Romantic Sage trait and the cheat won't remove it. I had to exit without saving and let him become a playable ghost instead. 😢
