[LD] Sim in another household not dying/repeat inventory message

Death pop up for neighborhood stories keeps repeating if a sim is about to die of old age. This has happened a few times. I'm playing with no mods or cc. In my legacy save I have neighborhood stories on with deaths enabled. When I get the random pop ups about deaths usually i can choose what to do with their belongings, and then the pop up dissappears. However for sims close to old age death the pop up keeps appearing after it is closed until the sim actually dies of old age or I go to the household and watch the death.

I have multiple played households too, and I got multiple notifications that a sim died every game session. Everytime I check and the Sim is (and stays) in good health 😁  
It's not a big issue, just annoying, yesterday my sim "Max" died 48 times in 2 game days.

Me too. ive gone into the household and my sim has just died. I kept getting repeated 'Sim has died chose what to do with their inventory'. its still asking me what to do. 

I've just started getting this error as well in my legacy save. My sim's mother was dying of old age and when the pop up to choose what to do with her inventory popped up, if I chose "Move to household inventory" I kept getting the pop up and also when I chose to have the inventory remain with the ghost. It wasn't until I chose "delete inventory" that the pop-ups stopped. It's now been 2 sim days and my sim still hasn't received the will or any of the heirlooms she was meant to. 

This started happening to me as well. I kept pressing on "move to former household inventory," but the pop-up kept happening until I pressed "remain with sim."

i have a few items of build cc, quite a lot of cas cc, no gameplay or script mods or anything like that

i got the pop up about a played sim but not current household- a sim has died in a recently played household what to do with their inventory pop up - this would not stop popping up every 2 mins or so
despite selecting move inventory to previous household, the pop up kept occurring and the sim never actually died (checked family tree) until i went to their household myself and the sim passed straight away, almost like the interaction kept queuing up but never working?

similarly, and maybe related? i got a phone call for a different sim passing, but later saw them alive and well

then also maybe related? i got the phone call of my sims mother passing (they had a full relationship bar or very close to being full) and my sim got the fine moodlet about being around death and an acquaintance passing (they already had this moodlet before i think so its possible i just got no moodlet in relation to the sim dying)

im not sure if these should be seperate threads and i apologise if they should be, but since there all kinda releated to sims i know passing im unsure if they are related or not 

Is this happening to anyone? This pops up constantly when a sim I have played dies. I select which option I want and it pops up again. This exact pop up has happened probably 10+ times and sometimes will pop up when that sims is still alive... I don't have any mods enable right now.

I have this current issue at the moment in my legacy save that the sims that I have played recently but moved onto a different household (the elderly parents of the sim I am currently playing in a different household) is eventually dying from old age but won’t actually die. I get a pop up saying that they have died but my sim does not receive a phone call to say they have died so I check on the relationship panel and they are still alive? I then repeatedly get the pop up to say they have died and where I want to store their inventory but they just haven’t died and it keeps going.

I have tried adding them to my recent household and they die immediately, the grim reaper appears and takes their body away but they just reappear as a living sim and the grave is empty (no name) and then it repeats again. I haven’t had an issue with other sims that have died (my households that are descendants in the family tree that I have not touched or played recently). It is also weird when I go onto the family tree and it is saying some of the sims that have been dead for months are alive now when they are not??

I have tried repairing my game but I still have this issue until I get to a point where I go into CAS and make them a ghost myself as they just won’t die and then get their grave from the funeral.

Has anyone had this issue before and have managed to fix it?
