Having the same problem... i had a secret child and the real father wasn't related to know one...but now somehow he is the brother of the woman he had an affair with ex- husband...

I think i fixed it... I deleted my sim and remake him and set the family tree the way it should have been... he had a affair with one sim that had a child and was married to another sims having kids.
the tree showed him married to his niece and the kids been his and his grandniece and grandnephew... and somehow, he was brother to the sims he had affair with husband when... I made him alone.
