[LS] Cupid’s Corner sims outfit reverts after Updating in CAS

I am experiencing the exact issue in this post marked fixed.

I had my sim dating a cupids corner match, and he joined her household. I didn’t like his hair or a couple of outfits so I changed them. Now every time he travels to another lot, he reverts to the original hair and clothes. He will eventually change over to my updates, but it can take several minutes and in game hours. I like to have my sims take photos of each other and wear different outfits for the seasons, but this glitch is so jarring it ruins my fun and makes me want to completely abandon this save.

I am playing on PS5, and I am completely up to date on both console and game (pending the console marketplace update) I have all expansions, game packs, stuff packs, and kits.
