Only after the most recent update do I no longer get promotions beyond level 8 in the Romance consultant career.
I have had no previous issues with promotions and my sims would progress normally through any of the careers (I have worked my way through all of them several times) but since the most recent update my sim cannot get promoted beyond level 8.
I have maxed out all skills required, done daily tasks and then waited 1 week in sims time and nothing.
I have also removed mods (before removing mods I did try to cheat it and force a promotion but this caused the whole game to crash and I had to do a forced shut down of my PC as even task manager couldn't get the game closed), done a clear out of the file itself and done a repair of the game but its still not working.
Can this be looked into and if anyone has any work arounds until then it would be greatly appreciated.
