Mac: Can’t remove previous uploads from the gallery
I’m playing on Mac and I’m currently incapable of removing my previous gallery uploads from my profile. I accidentally uploaded a household I wanted to keep private two days ago. No matter how many times I tried, I kept getting the error “Timed out during upload. Please check internet connection or try again later.” Followed by: “We could not process this Gallery request.”
This happens consistently for all uploads, including ones that are several years old. It is not limited to a single household or item. I tried uploading something to see if that worked at least and there was no issue there. The problem is with removing shared content.
I’ve already tried:
- Restarting the game and EA app,
- Logging out and back in,
- Removing local Sims 4 data (Documents folder reset, getting rid of all cache and mods),
- Trying different internet connections,
- Testing multiple items across my Gallery.
The issue persists in all cases.
The gallery has been very laggy in general but this bug is particularly annoying and harmful since it keeps me from protecting my privacy. I hope this is addressed and fixed in the next update.
