Married Sims with child now siblings

After the newest update, date 02/05/26, my recently married sims ( 1 created, 1 townie) who already have a child together (sci baby due to not getting pregnant vie try for baby). I have noticed that the two adults sims are not registered in cas as sisters. I attempted to edit this with testingcheats true and  cas.fulledit but the option was not able to change. I removed all mods, restarted, and repaired. The issue still persisted. I'm at a loss what else to do.
