I do not have any mods installed.
Anyone else having serious unbearable micro lag?

OperationDx Please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Please also try editing GraphicsRules.sgr, or rather a copy you put in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > ConfigOverride, to change these settings:

And if what you're seeing is not what that thread describes, please provide more details, or perhaps a screen recording, to illuminate the issue. I've never heard the term "micro lag," so I can only guess as to what you're seeing based on the experience of others on high-end machines.
After taking a day off not wanting to deal with this problem.
I switched to Direct X 9 after reading through the forums and I'm no longer having performance issues. I would not consider this a fix but for now it works.
