Missing/wrong interactions for Infants on Playmat

This would happen to me occasionally with infants, but since the update yesterday (march 17th) it is happening constantly.  The infant will motion for the parent and the parent will cancel any action they are doing and pick the infant up off the playmat and put them down on the floor. If I cancel the action and play the infant , when I try to click on the playmat only  "be carried here"  is available, if I click on the infant all the normal  options are there except "go night night" is not available.   This was happening so often I had to delete the playmats. I do use cc and a few mods so I tried taking out my mods folder, restarted the game and started a new save file and created a sim with three infants. I placed down 3 playmats and placed the 3 infants  down on the playmats and within a minute this was happening to all 3 infants.
