Mouse issue

On Xbox and switching to mouse and keyboard no longer works. Normally once I get to the main menu, I can click any button on my mouse and it automatically switches from controller to my mouse and keyboard. But that no longer works now. I've loaded a save and tried again, still doesn't work. I've closed the game and even shutdown the console multiple times.

Keyboard is actually working, I can use it to move the camera and switch between Sims etc. But the cursor is still visible and won't move with the mouse. Have now tested my mouse again and it works on a work laptop. Has just stopped working on Xbox.

This happened with another recent update this year with the same mouse and was eventually fixed. Now it's happening again. Playing with the controller is too difficult for me, so unable to play at all now.

Edit to add:  I haven't played since a little bit before the new pack released. So assume this bug has occurred again with the recent update for that. And I have not bought adventure awaits. That's twice recently that switching to mouse and Keyboard has stopped working.
